STUDENT HOUSING SUCCESS IN ISLINGTON
Quatro helped Ely Properties secure a unanimous decision on 8th June from Islington Council’s East Area Planning Sub-Committee for its plan to regenerate land on Isledon Road, adjacent to the railway lines and opposite the former Rainbow Theatre, with a 6-storey building designed by CZWG Architects.
The proposals comprise commercial use on the ground floor and 400 student bedrooms on the upper floors. The land is currently occupied by three under-utilised 1970s industrial/warehouse buildings. Quatro undertook local public consultation with residents, business and key political and community stakeholders.
